How do you know how much cannabis THC is in your oils? 

Our products are tested by third party, independent licensed laboratories in the state of California for cannabinoid potency, pesticides, microbial activity and heavy metals.  We do extensive testing at every level of the edibles manufacturing process to assure dosage accuracy and safety standards are met.

 

What is a standard dose of cannabis?

10 mg of THC is one standard dose. If you are a beginner, we recommend starting with 5mg or less.   All of our products are meant for adult use only, so please keep them out of reach of children.

 

Why should I purchase LGO oils instead of purchasing made pre-packaged edibles?

COST - Making edibles is a bargain!  Store bought edibles cost $1.50 -$2 per dose.  Our oils are about 75 cents per dose.  You can add the oils to food you would normally eat without spending extra money. 

Homemade Quality – Our oils and pure and non-gmo.  You control the other ingredients and quality.

Variety – Our oils can be added to foods that are pre-made or added to your favorite recipes. If you are cooking or baking, be sure not to raise the temperature higher than 325  or some of the potency of the THC could be lost.  When the recipe calls for a higher temperature, allow a little time for cooking and check often.

If you ’ve never consumed cannabis before. Which of your products do you recommend?

We do not recommend trying cannabis unless you are at least 21 years of age and in a state where consumption is legal – such as California.  We recommend starting with a low dose no more than 5mg. A ¼ teaspoon of any of our liquid oils or a 1/8 teaspoon of our solid oils contain an approximate 5mg dose.

 

Why should I consume cannabis as an edible? 

Edibles are easy and smoke-free.  No lingering smell, no messy ashes.  You can increase your dose by the drop to find the perfect amount for you. Eating food you’ve prepared is a discreet way enjoy cannabis.  Healthier for your lungs, too!

 

Do Liquid Gold Oils need to be refrigerated?

The liquid oils and coconut oil do not require refrigeration but it will extend the shelf life.  Our vegan butter does require refrigeration.

Are your products vegan?

We are a vegan-owned company. All our products are vegan and non-GMO. 

 

Do your products contain gluten?

ALL of our products are gluten-free.

 

Do you use any artificial ingredients?

We do not use any artificial ingredients, colors, or preservatives.

 

Are your products Indica or Sativa?

We use the highest quality distillate available. It’s a blend of the finest flower which passes the third-party testing for purity.  Most of our customers can’t taste the cannabis in our products. Cheap distillates are less refined and have an aftertaste that you may notice in other products.

 

Do you ship directly to consumers?

At this point, laws do not permit shipping and we are not currently licensed for delivery.  Please check our “Where to Buy” link for delivery services. 

 

Do you ship to other states or countries?

At this time, we cannot. Shipping internationally or across state lines is prohibited by US law.
